The MPRS is designed to raise standards in commercial vehicle maintenance and help operators make informed decisions when choosing a maintenance provider.

Rather than acting as a regulation or formal accreditation, the scheme sets clear standards. Workshops are rated based on staff skills, processes, and the quality of their facilities. Ratings range from ‘Qualified’ (covering basic standards) through Bronze, Silver, and Gold, up to ‘Platinum’ – the highest level, recognising top-tier workshops.

Maintenance providers are encouraged to take part in the scheme.
